We are seeking an Assistant Controller to become an important part of our team. Applicant must have a BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field and two years accounting experience in a non-profit.

Responsibilities include;

  • Performs and oversees all aspects of bi-weekly payroll process.
  • Process 401K enrollments
  • Perform account analysis and reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly closing
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Oversee leave database
  • Maintain payroll records
  • Assist in audit preparation
  • Prepare and reconcile tax withholding reports
  • Produce W-2's
  • Assist in annual budget preparation

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of accounting and finance principles
  • Understanding of government guidelines and tax laws that affect the agency
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in ADP, and SAGE Intact Software are preferred.
  • Teamwork skills
