Under the supervision of skilled machine operators, the Apprentice will learn all aspects of fastener manufacturing as it relates to heading, thread rolling, or tool making. Apprentices will learn to set-up and operate machines safely, check and record quality, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support the team as required.
Description:
- Participate and learn during the classroom and hands-on training portion of the Apprenticeship Program
- Learn machine set up procedures from an assigned mentor
- Check and record quality per department procedures
- Keep machines and work area clean
- Follow all procedures and work instructions
- Maintain good production numbers, low scrap, and high pieces/pounds
