Job Description


Staff Accountant for a busy Property Development Company.

This position will be to support bookkeeping and accounting functions for development, construction and management companies within the company.

Job duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Construction Contracts and Waivers
  • Document Management
  • Insurance Tracking
  • Financial Statement Preparation
  • Budgeting
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • CAM/NNN Billings
  • Sales Tax Filings
  • Annual 1099 Management
  • Support CPA Firm with Tax Preparation
  • Reporting submissions for specialty programs and lenders
  • Create Proforma Statements




Education & Experience


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Required
  • Minimum 5 Years Accounting Experience



Qualifications


Ideal Candidates shall have the qualifications below:

  • Experience in Sage Intacct, Yardi Breeze and AppFolio preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft Suite Knowledge, Strong Excel Skills
  • Solid Understanding of GAAP
  • Experience in Property Management and Construction a plus.
  • Experience with multi company accounting.
  • Ability to Multitask and Problem Solve
