We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to join our team. The role involves monitoring and analyzing inventory levels across multiple warehouses, identifying trends, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize inventory management. The Inventory Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory records and meet customer demand effectively. The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing stocking levels and understanding sales dynamics of e-commerce platforms.


Responsibilities.

  • Analyze and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
  • Monitor inventory movement through multiple warehouses in US and Canada
  • Collaborate with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Pricing departments to optimize inventory levels and reorder points to meet market demand
  • Track Warehouse fulfillment and shipping metrics for ecomm platforms, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to shipping policies
  • Work jointly with the Pricing department to analyze market demand, competition, and recognize growth opportunities
  • Complete inventory reports to propose process changes, system improvements, and provide management with actionable insights
  • Pinpoint and resolve inventory stock out issues
  • Identify inventory risk and recommend solutions to mitigate the risk
  • Manage aged or stale inventory for liquidation or stock adjustments as needed
  • Understand Warehouse shipping, receiving and returns processes


Requirements & Qualifications.

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field or 2+ years of applicable experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, creating reports, and managing large datasets
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multiple departments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of logistics and e-commerce marketplace inventory operations is preferred
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvements
  • Previous experience or interest in the automotive industry is a plus


Compensation.
Base Salary: $22-$25/hour depending on experience
