Located in St. Joseph, Michigan, LECO continues to be a family-owned company that understands the value of shared interests, long-term stability, loyalty, and trust.

Schedule:

Full Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday

Position Summary:

Major duties: Operate, calibrate and maintain a variety of LECO analytical instruments. Analyze a variety of sample material for various elements following the procedures outlined in the LECO Technical Services Laboratory Quality Assurance Manual.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operate, calibrate and maintain a variety of analytical instruments
  • Analyze a variety of sample material for various elements following the procedures as outlined in the Technical Service Laboratory Manual.
  • Complete all quality records associated with the analysis performed
  • Maintain Project Logbooks per procedures
  • Review and check their own work.
  • Notify supervisor of any operating problems with instrumentation.
  • Make corrections to own analysis techniques if a problem is discovered.
  • Recommend solutions to quality problems through group supervisor.
  • Follow company procedures

Position Requirements:

  • Required to wear safety glasses.
  • Responsible to wear protective gloves and mask if necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent work habits and good time management.
  • Right-To-Know Training

Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum)
