UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, a member of University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a BE/BC Nephrologist to join a well-established practice in Easton, MD.
UM Shore Medical Nephrologists provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plans for our patients on Maryland’s eastern shore. Our physicians an nurse practitioners have been recognized for their innovative patient service programs and for actively engaging in local outreach efforts to implement education programs that encourage early dete4ction and treatments of renal disease.
Job Specifics:
- Work Schedule: weekdays, rotating weekends, some holidays and on-call.
- Monday-Thursday 8 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 8am-3pm
- Hospital Call 1:4
- Inpatient and Outpatient services

UM Shore Regional Health, which was formed in July of 2013, connects residents and visitors to primary care and specialty physicians, emergency medical services, and a coordinated system of prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
- Medical degree or foreign equivalent.
- Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine.
- Completion of Fellowship training in Nephrology.
- BE/BC in Nephrology.
- Maryland medical license or eligible for Maryland medical license.
- Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
- Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
- Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
- Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
