Do you have experience as a security officer and in search for a long-term career? If so, this position may be the right fit for you We are in search of an individual who is familiar with detecting suspicious activity and is motivated by following processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will be courteous, professional, have a positive attitude, and will be dependable.

Individual must be have reliable transportation with the ability to work on-site. Initial training will be completed at our Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, SC.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Security/Office Services Specialist at our Rock Hill Center will be responsible for the surveillance of our premises, ensuring the safety of our staff and visitors, and coordinating services to our employees. (i.e.: lunch orders, car washes, catering events, etc.) In addition, this individual will be responsible for managing the distribution of supplies and the reporting of maintenance issues at the Rock Hill Center.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Observe employees as they enter and exit the facility to ensure their safety.
  2. Utilize the access control system to ensure all exits and doors stay closed and always locked.
  3. Utilize the surveillance camera system to quickly detect any suspicious or criminal activity.
  4. Communicate with law enforcement to remove any unauthorized persons or vehicles from the premises.
  5. Assist other departments by downloading videos and providing video disks to law enforcement as needed.
  6. Attend Rock Hill Center department meetings to review security procedures and train employees on security topics as needed.
  7. Issue replacement fobs to employees who have lost or misplaced their fob.
  8. Perform periodic tests on the building security systems to ensure proper functionality.
  9. Observe and assist visitors and vendors as they enter the facility.
  10. Verify that all visitors and vendors are authorized to be at the facility by checking identification and have them sign into the visitor management system.
  11. Communicate with different departments to quickly help visitors and vendors.
  12. Complete activity reports to document daily activity and important occurrences.
  13. Coordinate lunch orders and deliveries for the Rock Hill Center staff in addition to any other services that could be provided in the future.
  14. Follow post orders and attend mandatory ongoing security training provided by FFCU.
  15. Manage the replenishment of office supply inventory items for the Rock Hill Center
  16. Maintain key inventory for RHC.
  17. Collect outgoing mail from each RHC department to be picked up by Carolina Couriers and deliver in-coming mail received from Carolina Couriers to each RHC department.
  18. Assist with service and/or machine maintenance calls/requests for Rock Hill Center by entering ServiceNow request for any service-related needs.
  19. Assist with management of maintenance issues such as janitorial, landscaping, pest control, and HVAC at the Rock Hill Center.
  20. Comply with Founders’ policies and procedures, as well applicable laws, regulations, and statutes issued by federal agencies such as NCUA and FFIEC, including, but not limited to, GLB and BSA. Employees have legal and regulatory obligations to respect and protect the privacy of information and its integrity and confidentiality.
  21. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Four-year college degree or equal facilities/physical security experience is preferred.
  2. Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills to interact with a variety of individuals daily.
  3. Individual must be motivated and possess a strong work ethic. This position requires the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  4. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, having the ability to learn new programs quickly with a proficiently in Microsoft Office programs.
  5. Individual must have natural observation and surveillance skills with keen attention to detail.
  6. Integrity and professionalism is held to a high standard.

Candidate must be available Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

This position requires lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy items (up to 60 lbs.) on a frequent basis.
