Seasonal Mowing and Landscaping Public Works Crew

The Town of Farragut is seeking applicants for a Seasonal Public Works Crew position. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our community. This is a seasonal position, with the preferred availability from May 1st to November 1st. However, we can be flexible with the availability. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, from 7am to 4pm, and pays $14.70 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various routine manual labor tasks related to grounds maintenance, utilizing standard hand tools and mowers.
• Maintain parks, facilities, and public right-of-ways by performing necessary maintenance tasks.
• Assist in the preparation, installation, and removal of Christmas decorations.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

• Experience operating mowers, weed eaters, and hand power tools is preferred.
• Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and work shirt will be provided by the Town.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
