Receptionist-Chiropractic Assistant

We are currently looking for a welcoming and compassionate Receptionist-Chiropractic Assistant to join our busy chiropractic clinic. You will be the face of Chiro 1st Federal Way; the first person they see when they walk in the door.

Receptionist/CA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet patients with a welcoming smile and check them in/out
• schedule appointments and checking if patients are on track with their treatment plans
• Treat patients with compassion and empathy while keeping a professional manner
• Educate patients on chiropractic care and how we can help them
• Conduct new patient consultations and take digital spinal x-rays (once certified to do so)
• Explain treatment plans to patients and the patient’s family
• Collect balances and explain the basics of health insurance.
• Comply with health care laws and regulations and organizational guidelines including HIPPA

Receptionist/CA Requirements

• Great communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Positive attitude with the desire to learn and grow
• Excellent team player
• A passion for health and wellness
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
• A basic knowledge about the benefits of chiropractic is a plus but not required.
