Full Steam Staffing is now hiring a Gatekeeper in Lathrop, CA

Pay Rate: $19/hr. | Shift: 3rd shift (1 AM - 9:30 AM)

Position Overview

The Gatekeeper works in the inventory & work order modules and is responsible for validating all incoming materials to and from the production line. The Gatekeeper is the shift-wide resource for raw material and packaging transactions at the key control point between Product Supply and Production.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Gatekeeper I:

·Follow all plant safe practices

·Validates all container/lot quantities going to and from the warehouse

·Manage aging of Work in Process (WIP) material

·Daily batch sheet entry

·Assist in work order reconciliation

·Liaison between Product Supply, Planning and Production

·Proper paperwork handling

·Computer data entry and report generation

·Scanner operation

·Internal inventory reporting

·Lead/Assist in the development of process improvement

·Other duties may be assigned

Gatekeeper II:

Gatekeeper I responsibilities plus:

• Responsible as Lead Gatekeeper; coaches, coordinates, develops, communicates with and maintains alignment amongst Gatekeepers on all shifts.
• Plans material supply from ADC1.
• Attends daily planning meeting; plans and coordinates unique supply activities for production as required.
• Plans temperature control capacity requirements.
• Generates forecasting, inventory, and other management reports.
• Coordinates with Production regarding cutback activities (summarizes and plans).
• Primary Production contact point for material supply.
• Follows up on unique inventory and supply requests from Production.
• Other duties and assignments as designated by Product Supply Manager.

Education and/or Experience:

·High School Diploma or equivalent

·1+ years verifiable experience in warehousing or logistics

·1+ years inventory control experience
