Construction Site Superintendent

At AGRA Industries we pride ourselves in providing an innovative, challenging and safe work experience. Currently we are looking for a Construction Site Superintendent to join our growing team.

This position will represent AGRA Industries as the primary point of contact with respect to daily construction matters onsite. This scope of work includes; understanding project specific drawings, specifications, safety requirements and schedule, managing and coordinating subcontracted and self-performed onsite construction activities, developing a project specific plan for construction for each phase of construction, assisting with project pre-construction planning, providing detailed information to Project Manager to be used for weekly schedule updates, submitting a daily report to Project Manager for review, maintaining a daily photo log of project progress. Overall responsibility for the construction project from start to finish. The Site Superintendent is to report back to AGRA Industries management at end of each project with both positive feedback, areas that could be improved, and lessons learned to be used in planning future projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees onsite project safety and both inspires good safety habits and enforces safety rules if needed.
• Performs orientation for all employees working on AGRA Industries construction sites.
• Directs sub contracted labor based on schedule and deliverables.
• Responsible for the quality of sub contracted labor onsite.
• Conducts weekly progress meetings two times a week with all site subcontractors, superintendents, and foremen.
• Maintains compliance with internal document control including sign in sheets, inspections, time sheets, safety training, task planners, and daily reports from sub-contractors.
• Schedules all required third party, state, and local inspections.
• Performs and documents all AGRA industries internal inspections including both safety and quality.
• Enters daily inspections, reports and documents into Procore including progress, weather, deliveries, photos, and task planners.
• Directs deliveries to the correct sub-contractor and appropriate laydown area.
• Performs and documents assured grounding inspection for the temporary power.
• Maintains an accurate inventory list of tools and material onsite.
• Must be willing to perform the duties of a millwright foreman at times due to smaller projects that do not require a superintendent.
• Must have a good understanding of project management concepts and techniques, including planning, resource management, risk management, and quality assurance.
