Wage: $21.00/Hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-5p

Position starts out Part-Time and moves to Full-Time with successful completion of probation period

This is a hybrid role that will perform clerical and caregiving duties

Interim HealthCare is seeking a clerical and caregiver support person to join our office team in Medford, OR. Our business is providing caregivers to seniors in their home, as well as staffing in assisted living communities. The Caregiver - CSR Clerk is a crucial part of our team, working together with the Manager and CSR to achieve goals and assure that our team provides outstanding care for our clients. Our ultimate goal at Interim Medford is to allow seniors to remain safely in their homes or the assisted living communities where they reside. Essential Functions:                                                    

  • Receives incoming calls and obtains necessary information from the caller to process the call efficiently.
  • Transfers the caller to the person that is best able to assist the caller.
  • Welcomes all visitors and informs the appropriate office staff of their arrival.
  • Welcomes applicants and directs them to complete an application and submit it.
  • Assists with administrative and clerical tasks as directed.
  • Completes assignments as requested and assigned.
  • Trains care staff as needed
  • Provides care to new clients until we place a caregiver on shift
  • Ability to cover open shifts as needed *weekends included
  • May have access to personal health information (“PHI”) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities.  Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus one (1) year prior clerical or secretarial experience preferred.
  • 6 months plus experience in senior caregiving or CNA license to include all ADLs, Hoyer Lift, Alzheimer's/Dementia
  • 6 months plus experience in a clerical office setting

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated helpful, courteous, and outgoing approach.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Ability to work flexible work schedule with weekends as needed
  • Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check and drug screen
  • Current driver's license, transportation and ability to travel between Jackson and Josephine Counties
