We are a new, innovative provider of mental health services here in Utah. We started in Oregon and are now expanding into the Intermountain West.   

  

We believe the old system is broken. Why work for an hourly or salary wage when you can have your own private practice and make two or three times as much income? Our new system is the solution.  

  

Our clinicians are paid commission on each counseling session within 5-10 days of the session. We are also working on a solution to enable that pay to happen the same day of the session. 

  

How can you make $100 / hour or $100,000 / year working with us? 

 

Our rates are $110 - $150 per session, depending on the insurance (or private pay). If you are a fully licensed counselor in the state of Utah (and not under supervision), you can earn as much as 70% commission on each session. Let us do the math: $150 x 70% = $105 per session--that's $100+ per hour. Let us do the math for the low-end (Select Health): $110 x 70% = $77 per session. So, your total compensation will range from $77 to $105 per hour.  

 

We also provide Medicaid which pays $147 per session, in addition to all the major commercial insurance providers here in Utah. We will credential you with those providers. Your average commission per session will be: $130 x 70% = $91 per session. So, how much can your total compensation be?  

 

Well, how many clients can we provide for you? In Oregon, we can provide 24 clients within 3-months about 80% of the time. Sometimes it takes 4-5 months, depending on your calendar of availability and if you can do in-person clients in addition to telehealth.  

   

Our counselors in Oregon range from 20-30 sessions per week (accounting for no-shows). Your total compensation at 1000 - 1500 sessions per year would be: 1000 x $91 = $91,000 per year (on the low end) or $136,500 per year (on the high end). OK, so this sounds surprisingly good. What is the catch?   

   

Well, most of us want benefits, right? Paid vacation, paid holidays, medical benefits, 401K, etc. We provide ALL these benefits. You will need to pay for them out of your commission. Our counselors in Oregon pay around $1800 per month (average is 20% of commission) for the full benefits package: private office space; medical, dental, vision insurance; paid vacation; paid holidays; 401K; and education reimbursement. It’s up to you. You can pick and choose which benefits you want.   

  

This is the great thing about our system. It’s as close to having your own private practice as you can get. And, if you do have your own private practice. We don’t care Heck, we’ll even help you start your own private practice

We are seeking fully licensed counselors to provide in-person and telehealth counseling for our offices in Provo and American Fork. You should have a master’s degree and a current license. It is essential that you have the interpersonal skills necessary to create the patients’ trust that allows you to address and resolve their most intimate mental health concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Behavioral Health Generalists – LPCs, LMFTs, LCSWs, Psychologists, etc. 
  • Team members who believe in working together to provide the best mental health therapy 
  • Give individual and family treatment services for clients while developing skills to access community support and resources to advocate for themselves 
  • Offer intensive clinical services for high-needs clients 
  • Assist with making referrals for services 
  • Complete intake mental health assessments, including screening for A/D issues. Obtains and maintains competence in all screening and assessment tools required by the state, county, or agency 
  • Document services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements 
  • Provide consultation, training, and orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders to team members, student interns and other professionals 
  • Remain knowledgeable of the latest methodologies in counseling to provide patients with the best possible care 
  • Strong character matters - integrity, honesty, adaptability, and quality of care 

 

Education and Work Experience 

 

  • LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or Psychologist whose authorized scope of practice includes mental health diagnosis and treatment. 
  • Master’s degree in mental health related field. 
  • Thorough knowledge of counseling regulations and best practices. 
  • Strong interpersonal, team development, organizational, and management skills. 
  • Excellent computer proficiency in desktop computers and computer productivity applications including Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint), and Simple Practice EHR software. 
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary client and employee service, support, and assistance. 
  • Ability to work independently primarily in an in-office environment with hybrid work possible depending on location and number of hours available for telehealth work. 
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing, helpful personality. 

 

What we offer: 

 

  • We do extensive marketing to find you clients. 
  • We credential you with Select Health, United Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc.  
  • Full-time at 20 counseling hours per week (at least 24 clients due to no-shows) 
  • Flexibility with your schedule – you choose your workdays and hours 

 

Compensation and benefits: 

 

  • 100% commission-based compensation 
  • Commission rate is 50% - 70% per session. 
  • We pay commissions before receiving payments from insurance companies. 
  • Payday every 2 weeks (5-days after billing cycle ends and pays commission on submitted billing)
