Housekeeping- Country Club

Position: Clubhouse Housekeeping

Department: Cleaning/Janitorial

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Job Description:

1. Office

- empty trash cans

- clean top of desks, furniture, file cabinets, spider webs, baseboards, window sills, windows, & window blinds

- dust pictures

- move furniture to vacuum behind

- vacuum and clean stains on carpet

- clean stains on walls

2. Hallway to Lobby

- vacuum and clean stairs on carpet ( including front door mat and clean as needed)

- clean spider webs, woodwork, polish brass, trophy case, all glass including front door, wood doors, base boards, fireplace mantle & mirrors

- dust pictures & piano

- sweep & mop floor

- mop front entrance

- empty ashtrays & trash cans

- polish & clean wall sconces (wall fixtures)

3. Ladies Card Room

- vacuum & clean stains on carpet

- clean window sills, windows, move tables to vacuum, empty ash trays & trash cans, polish brass

- wipe chairs & all wood (once a week)

- dust all pictures

4. Chipper’s Lounge

- empty trash cans

- sweep & mop behind bar

- polish all brash

- vacuum & clean stains on carpet

- move tables to vacuum carpet

- clean sliding doors & tracks, fireplace mantle, window sills & windows

- dust pictures, fireplace mantle, TV cabinet & piano

- wipe chairs & all wood (once a week)

5. Bathrooms/Office/Grill Room & Men’s Locker Room

- empty trash cans

- sweep & mop all marble & tile floors

- change air freshener spray (once a month)

- clean toilets, urinals, sinks & counter tops

- re-stock paper towels, bathroom tissue, hand soap, hand towels, sanitary napkins, hair spray, etc.

- polish faucets & handles

- clean mirrors

- install urinal blocks in urinals

- wipe wall tiles, stall dividers, base boards & doors (once a week)

6. Main Rooms:

- vacuum & clean stains on carpet

- sweep marble floor

- wipe chairs, furniture base boards, doors & tracks (once a week)

- polish all brass

- clean all glass doors

- move tables to vacuum

- dust pictures

- wipe chairs & woodwork (once a week)

- dust spider webs

7. Grill Room:

- empty trash can

- sweep & mop behind bar

- polish all brash

- vacuum & clean stains on carpet

- move table to vacuum floor

- clean mirrors, spider webs, sliding doors & tracks, fireplace mantle, windows & sills, & glass on wine cabinet

- dust pictures, fireplace mantle & TV’s

- clean podiums, wipe chairs & all woodwork (once a week)

8. Downstairs:

- empty ashtray behind entry door

- vacuum stair carpet & hallway

- clean stains on carpet, glass doors, pro-shop door near stairs, windows, glass doors, & stains on wall

- dust all pictures

9. All other cleaning related task assigned by manager
