Our Michigan team is expanding and there is an IMMEDIATE opportunity available for a Repair Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing light demolition, carpentry, framing, drywall, and painting in residential settings. If you have at least one year of experience in construction or restoration, we want to hear from you.

Hourly Pay Range: $23.00-$26.00, Negotiable; depending on experience.

Schedule: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday

Paid Monthly On-Call: Twice a month, you will be scheduled in advance to be on-call for a week, with full use of a company vehicle, including a fuel card. You will be paid an on-call bonus in addition to any hours worked, including overtime. If called, you must be available to act with reasonable time for travel.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Interface with customers and relay information to Project manager or Superintendent when appropriate.
  • Performs light carpentry, framing, drywall, paint, trim, and other aspects of common repair work.
  • Prepare rooms/areas for work activities to include setting up staging areas, equipment, & content protection.
  • Assist with demolition and general cleanup as needed.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours service calls.
  • Provide direction to subcontractors as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum 3-years of experience in construction required.
  • Experience with carpentry, drywall, and flooring required.
  • Hands on experience in drywall, paint, trim, and light carpentry.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
