Plater

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL, 60007

We are currently seeking a skilled Plater to join our team at our facility in Elk Grove Village, IL. As a Plater, you will be responsible for appling materials to repair, rebuild or establish desired finishes to a wide variety and range of jobs at HHC, Inc. facilities. Promote the products and services offered by HHC, Inc. through daily quality and timely production of work. Promote the long-term goals of HHC, Inc.. Promote good working relationships andteamwork with all employees/departments. Must be flexible and perform other duties and assist where needed as assigned to meet HHC Inc.’s changing needs.

• Prepare metal surfaces for plating by cleaning, sanding, and polishing
• Mix plating solutions and chemicals according to specifications
• Operate plating equipment such as tanks, pumps, and rectifiers
• Monitor plating process to ensure proper coating thickness and adhesion
• Inspect plated parts for quality and make any necessary adjustments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Previous experience as a Plater or in a similar role
• Knowledge of plating techniques and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods
