Safavieh is an upscale global home furnishings, rugs & accessories company looking for a proactive, personable, highly motivated and organized ASsistant Office Manager to join our team. Our store is located in Manhasset- this is a fully onsite position only. 

This is a great opportunity for a someone to make significant contributions to a well-established, high volume store. This position will demand a dynamic skill set with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and stay organized. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
  • Entering transfers.
  • Handling customer’s inquiries and complaints as needed.
  • Tagging furniture on sales floor and ensuring accurate merchant information.
  • Communicating on a daily basis with the warehouse department to ensure effective delivery operations.
  • Planning and delegating responsibilities to store employees. 
  • Managing sales orders and cash receipts,
  • Running commission statements.

Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and is detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication .
  • Ideal candidate posses the ability to multitask and work well  under deadlines
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • 3-5 years of experience within the home furnishings/and or related industry preferred but not required. 

Compensation:

  • $25.00 per hour
  • Full-time position
  • Benefits – medical, vision, dental, vacation, and sick days
