San Francisco, United States Private Medical Full time
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $187,000/year

Schedule: full time position, M-F, traditional business hours (e.g., 8am-5pm) - no weekends required

Location: onsite, San Francisco

Who are we?

Private Medical has spent the last 20 years creating a new category of concierge  medicine — private medicine — by designing a system that honors the relationship between patients, physicians, and each member of the care team. Based in California, New York, and Florida, our physician-led teams work in concert with our Gynecologists, Naturopathic Medicine Doctors, curated local specialists, elite medical centers, and specialists around the world, to provide relationship focused, evidence-based, longitudinal care to our members and their families. Private Medical is, by design, privately held and free from any conflicts of interests.

Right now, we are looking for an experienced nurse leader to support the day-to-day clinical operations in our San Francisco office, manage and mentor our nursing team, and support the operations team.

There will be close teamwork with physicians, nurses, and other team members.  Your success will not be measured based on volume or time, but on enabling your team to provide the best quality care at a high level of service.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum five (5) years of RN experience either in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Must have managerial experience and mentoring of junior team members
  • Active California RN license, current BLS certification, and valid California driver’s license
  • Proven leader with a track record of providing extraordinary patient care and customer service
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Independence and autonomy, when necessary, as well as the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work after hours or on weekends, if necessary
  • Advanced computer literacy, primarily with Apple products (we are a fully iOS/Mac environment) and a diverse knowledge of EMR/EHRs (we currently use Elation for our EHR as it is compatible with Apple products)

      • Coordinate with local site leadership (our Site Operations Manager and Physician Lead) when there are staff absences to make sure the office appropriately scheduled.
      • Promote a friendly, team oriented office dynamic and be the first point of contact for conflict resolution.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to RNs at all sites
