Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist to manage and maintain our companys technology systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, network management, and software troubleshooting. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and implementing new technologies to enhance our business processes.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain the companys network, servers, and IT infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware as needed.
  • Manage data backups and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure the security of the companys IT systems, including implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand and meet their technology needs.
  • Document IT processes and provide training to staff on IT systems and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and recommend upgrades or improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of network management, server maintenance, and IT security.
  • Proficient in Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
