Facility Maintenance Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW
- Any labor and skill required to maintain and clean the Company’s property.
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm.
- This position is paid hourly and eligible for overtime pay.
- No travel is expected for this position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Maintain outside walking and working areas, including sweeping debris and washing walkways regularly.
- Maintain landscape on the property including watering the yard with the water truck to minimize dust, cutting the grass and trimming shrubs.
- Operate skid steer and bushhog to maintain fields and gravel.
- Commit to washing each Grace/Company trailer once monthly while coordinating with the Freight Manager.
- Responsible for the preventative maintenance and upkeep of equipment used.
- Assist in any other maintenance tasks assigned duties by management and coordinate with department team leads on areas of concern.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions; heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity; fumes, and airborne particles.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
- Must be able to lift and move items over 50 pounds.
