Worship Pastor - Bellevue Neighborhood Church

Bellevue Neighborhood Church (BNC) is seeking a Worship Pastor (or Director) with a passionate love for Jesus, team-building gifts and skills, musical talent, and a Holy Spirit-anointing to develop teams of worship leaders, singers, and musicians, plus the technical teams that support them, to lead its people in worship.

BNC is a multi-ethnic community of all ages from a wide range of backgrounds who share a love for God and each other and maintain a commitment to reach their city with the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ. Bellevue serves as the hub city in the Pacific Northwest's technical region and includes the headquarters of Amazon, T-Mobile, Microsoft, and many other tech firms. BNC reflects its city's multinational status and its own Assemblies of God heritage.

Responsibilities

• Develop worship teams to lead the congregation to praise God through worship music in Sunday services.
• Train musicians, singers, and worship leaders.
• Mentor interns and other students from Northwest University. (BNC is the closest Assemblies of God church to NU.)
• Schedule and coordinate worship song lists and personnel.
• Develop youth and young adult worship teams.
• Direct the multimedia team, including sound, lighting, projection, video, and online service hosting.

Qualifications

• Vibrant and sincere Christian faith and life.
• Worship leading experience.
• Understanding of sound, video, Internet, and lighting technology
• Acceptance of Assemblies of God doctrine and practices.
• The title of Worship Pastor will be reserved for candidates with ministry credentials, but others with worship leading and directing experience are encouraged to apply for the position as Worship Director.
