Mill Laborer

General Summary: Perform tasks involving physical labor and delivery at warehouse locations.

Essential Functions:

• Identify and mix Animal Feed and load and unload feed ingredients at the warehouse.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing the warehouse.
• Understand and follow directions.
• Operate, lubricate, and maintain mill equipment.
• Complete customer orders in a timely matter.
• Drive company vehicles up to 20% of the time.
• Work in a team to achieve daily goals.
• Uses hand tools as needed.

Competencies:

• Safety - Compliance with all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices, as well as identifying and correcting conditions as needed.
• Listening - Pays attention, hears and understands the speaker, retaining the information for future use.

Educations/Experience:

Experience in construction, agronomy, or feed preferred. Understand and communicate in English. Current Drivers License (Class “B” CDL, preferable).

Environment: Regular work schedules and occasional overtime will be required to complete projects or specialized training. Not travel. Works outside in extreme heat and cold. Wear site required PPE.

Physical: This position is defined as Very Heavy. Work involves exerting 100 pounds of force frequently using the body, hands, fingers, arms, legs or feet to complete work. It involves walking, standing, bending, kneeling and lifting to a significant degree. It rarely involves sitting.
