Overview

We are seeking a skilled Blanchard Grinder Operator to join our team at our facility in Erie, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC Grinder, CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC), and Surface Grinder machines, with a focus on Blanchard equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate Blanchard grinding machines to grind surfaces of metal workpieces to specifications
  • Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet required tolerances
  • Adjust machine settings to control factors such as depth of cut, speed, and feed rates
  • Inspect and measure workpieces to verify conformance to specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
  • Experience operating CNC Grinder, CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC), and Surface Grinder machines
  • Proficient in setting up and adjusting machine settings
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
