Leander Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, privately owned, non-corporate, small animal practice in Leander, TX seeking Full-time, Part-time, and Relief Veterinarians as well as student interns.


A great practice for new and experienced veterinarians, we provide a range of services from routine wellness and preventative care, right through to outpatient surgeries and dentals.

Among the many benefits of working in private practice, LVC offers the freedom of autonomous medicine, flexible scheduling with no on-call or Sundays, and a focus on a healthy work/life balance for our Drs. We have a support staff of 30 employees with a 3:1 technician per doctor ratio and our mentor program is available for those who would like to work directly with one of our experienced DVMs.

We welcome students looking for internships, externships and Summer assignments When it is time for you to make arrangements, please contact us and we would be happy to discuss the details. We can offer assistance with housing. Our primary focus during externships is to hone clinical skills and familiarize you with practice in our small animal hospital. Externs participate in client interactions/communication, case management, diagnostic and treatment plans, and assisting with surgical and dental procedures. We also would like to get your input if there are particular skill sets you would like to work on and develop during your time with us.

Full Time:


Base Salary $160,000. Prosal for experienced Drs offers the opportunity to earn well over $200,000 with no negative accrual.
Sign on bonus $30,000.
Relocation assistance $10,000.

Additional Salary Information:


Paid Licensing, CE, 401K, Health and Dental insurance, and 120 hours PTO.

Desired Skills & Experience


Qualifications:
-License to practice veterinary medicine in Texas.
-Veterinary license in good standing.
-New graduates are encouraged to apply.
-Open to experienced practitioners.
-DEA license preferred.
