Chicago Portable X-Ray is currently seeking a dedicated Mobile X-Ray Technician to provide services in the Alton, IL area. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams using state-of-the-art x-ray equipment at various patient care facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain x-ray equipment
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Explain procedures to patients to ensure their comfort and cooperation
- Follow strict safety and imaging protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely imaging results
Qualifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) certification
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and physical
- Comprehensive knowledge of x-ray safety and protocols
- Proven experience in diagnostic imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Gentle, caring, and patient-focused demeanor
- Professional representation of the organization
