Job Overview
This position is excellent for a people-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality. From seamless check-ins to exceptional guest experiences, this position assists guests throughout their stay, providing valuable local recommendations and playing a crucial role in ensuring guests feel cared for and valued.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a positive first impression, emanating the fun and escapism for guests that Margaritaville is known for.
- Make and confirm reservations and manage cancellations and special requests.
- Act as a liaison between guests and hotel management, relaying guest concerns to management and hotel procedures to the guests.
- Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, amenities, other services, and local attractions.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Routinely monitor the presence of the hotel lobby for cleanliness and remove all debris.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as faxing, filing, answering phone calls, and ensuring an organized system.
- Communicates with housekeeping, room service, and security staff.
- Create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
- High school degree or GED preferred.
- Minimum High School Education required. One to three years’ experience as a Front Desk Agent required (high-volume environment preferred); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read written forms of communication and monochrome computer screen.
- Excellent comprehension and literacy required to review correspondence, initiate reports, conduct training, etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
- Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities.

- 90% of the shift is standing, Bending/kneeling - repeated bending and kneeling required while filing,
- Mobility - must be able to reach all areas of the hotel to assist clients.
- Occasional carrying and lifting of files and office items up to 25 lbs.
- Air Conditioned, open environment
- Work inside 95%
- Material/Equipment used computer display, telephone.
- Prolonged standing at indoor, thermostatically climate-controlled workstation.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience
