Conchester Animal Hospital was first constructed in 1960 deriving its name from the adjacent Conchester Highway. Dr. Mead Shaffer and Dr. Donald Skinner conceived the idea while they were in the same class in veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. Our hospital is proud to serve the residents of Boothwyn, Marcus Hook, and surrounding areas by providing comprehensive and compassionate pet health services. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year-round, with good nutrition and exercise. We make sure our hospital stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
