The Patient Service Representative II is responsible for a variety of administrative functions and patient care activities in support of the clinic to include – checking-in/out patients, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments and assisting clinical staff to provide support for the efficient delivery of patient care. The Patient Service Representative is responsible for handling these duties in a manner reflecting the Mission, Values, and Customer Service philosophy of OrthoAtlanta LLC. In addition, this Patient Service Representative will reconcile bank deposit activity, assist with timesheets for staff, develop and management schedules, review and assist with remediating day end reviews

Requirements:

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of medical office experience
  • Ability to build trust with physicians and co-workers
  • Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced, high stress environment
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Customer Service skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Experience with Epic a plus
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Strong sense of discretion and professionalism
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
