We are searching for a full-time Maintenance Technician to support the Property and Maintenance Managers in the completion of the day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of apartment units, grounds-keeping, and overall facility appearance. The individual will perform a variety of duties preparing apartments to be rented and resolving work orders submitted by our current residents. May be required to work at other locations in the local area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Regular communication with Maintenance/Property Managers to stay on top of make ready schedule and emergency work orders.
- Ability to maintain a high level of customer service for guests.
- Perform maintenance of the buildings, appliances and grounds, performing light plumbing and electrical, and painting.
- Keep walls, doors, cabinets, and furniture in good condition, repairing scratches, gouges, and dents in doors, cabinets, and walls.
- Disassemble and assemble cabinets, countertops, vanities.
- Material handling and storage, such as, moving and/or installing appliances and furniture.
- Ensure grounds and common areas i.e., laundry room, pool, courtyard, walkways are kept clean at all times.
- Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. This includes a rotation schedule responding to respond to emergency calls after hours and on weekends.
- Other duties as requested by Management.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
- May require valid drivers license, vehicle registration and insurance.
- Combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the job.
