Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Intern will assist in negotiating and sourcing activities with current and new vendors for the purchase of direct materials, and services used by the converting locations. Strategizing with the internal teams to select cost effective suppliers while analyzing how to reduce expenses allowing Technimark to invest in people and growth. A familiarity with basic business concepts, practices, and procedures; along with, judgment to plan and accomplish goals is required. This position will also assist in organizational tasks related to systems utilized for purchasing. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Sourcing and is responsible for the coordination of spending with the corporate purchasing team.

Knowledge | Experience | Skills:
• Currently enrolled in a degree program for Business or Supply Chain Management
• Knowledge of basic cost and accounting practices.
• MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Organizational and project management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively throughout multiple levels of the organization.
• Adherence to ethical conduct consistent with company policies
• Able to collaborate with various departments and personnel, as necessary.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Organize and attach approved specifications sheet and drawing to the IQ System.
• Assist in RFP data gathering, document prep and attend strategy calls.
• Organize standard RFP Templates, Terms and Conditions, and boiler plate MOU documents on SharePoint.
• Assist in expanding a supplier contact list published on SharePoint.
• Spot Check BI to confirm negotiated pricing and price changes from openers have been executed.
• Participate in the internal team and negotiation calls.
