Airframe and Powerplant Technician

Job DescriptionJob Description1. The applicant must be available day or night as needed due to the company's demanding schedule.
2. The applicant must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.
3. The applicant must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
4. The applicant must have their own toolbox containing general mechanic tools.
5. The applicant must document maintenance and repair actions, equipment status tags, logs, and parts requests clearly either on paper or in an electronic system.
6. The applicant must be able to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, technical manuals, written instructions, and test procedures.
7. The applicant must be self-motivated and able to manage their time to achieve specified maintenance response goals.
8. The applicant must be able to effectively communicate the aircraft's status to the team as required.
9. The applicant must complete work duties assigned by the Director of Maintenance.

Qualifications
1. It is mandatory to possess a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
2. The ability to work independently, be available on call, and work nights and weekends is essential as this is a 24/7 operation.
3. It is necessary to remain eligible to pass FAA-required drug and alcohol tests.
4. You must hold and maintain a valid Drivers’ License.
5.. You should be able to lift 50 pounds and have the agility to climb into small spaces in aircraft.
6. You must have the means to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
7. Lear experience is preferred.
8.. Five (5) years of experience is preferred.
