Job Title: Clinical Nutritionist
Location: New York, NY 10032
Department: Clinical Nutrition
Shift: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (includes a 30-minute break)

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time (6-month assignment)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Rotating weekends (Saturdays & Sundays): 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Initially part-time (2-3 days per week) until December, increasing to full-time (5 days per week) thereafter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical nutrition services to pediatric and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments, develop care plans, and offer nutrition support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and adjust nutritional care plans accordingly.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on nutritional needs and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Registered Dietitian (RD) credential (Commission on Dietetic Registration - CDR)
  • Required: Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) credential in New York State
  • Preferred: Experience in pediatric and NICU settings
  • Preferred: Experience in nutrition support
