Job Type: Full-Time or Part-TimePurpose of this positionThe purpose of this position is to implement facility housekeeping procedures in a efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.Qualifications-One year experience in a housekeeping position (preferred)-One year experience in a long-term Nursing Home facility (preferred)-High School DiplomaJob Duties-Follow material safety data sheets (MSDS).-Operate housekeeping equipment safely.-Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with facility policy.-Observe waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy; follow directions.-Assist in proper care of housekeeping equipment.-Identify and report any equipment malfunction to supervisor.-Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor.-Use housekeeping supplies efficiently.-Attend in-service training programs for housekeeping employees.-Observe infection control procedures related to Housekeeping Department.-Perform other related duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
