HVAC Journeyman

Fresh Meadow Mechanical Service is currently hiring for a full-time HVAC Journeyman / HVAC Service Technician to complete preventive maintenance as well as troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various types of heating and air conditioning equipment in the Fresh Meadows, NY area. This heating and cooling position typically works 7 AM - 3 PM, Monday thru Friday. We pay our HVAC Journeyman / HVAC Service Technicians a competitive salary starting at $90,000.00/year with incentives based on experience.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months
• Ability to safely and legally operate a vehicle
• Ability to perform the physical duties necessary to complete the daily tasks of this heating and cooling position
• Operating knowledge about Microsoft office software and working proficiency with a handheld computer (i.e. a smartphone, or iPad) is a plus
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• EPA certification

5+ years of experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude. An HVAC Journeyman Tech or someone with technical school or formal training would also be preferred.
