JOB TITLE: Quality Specialist- Repair

REPORTS TO: Finishing Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for tire repair process

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for daily tire repairs on defects in accordance with the official “Classification of Finished Product at Control” document
  • Communicate eventual repetitive non-conformities to the shift quality technician in order to start the reaction plan established for each of the defects
  • Perform inventories in repair area as necessary
  • Support for 1st control inspectors and 2nd control technicians on normal activities (back up when required) as requested by the quality manager or final finishining coordinator
  • Ensure proper flow of non-conforming materials and tires according to company internal procedures
  • Support with end of the month activities to assure monthly targets of tire consignment are met
  • Work to continuously improve the systems, processes, standards and procedures in Repair Area
  • General awareness of Pirelli Environmental Management System and Environmental Policy and how their role impacts the environment.
