Leadman & Associates is looking for a Production Supervisor to make a significant impact within a manufacturing facility. You will report to the Operations Manager, and have around 5 direct reports.

The role offers overseeing production crew, ensuring quality/quantity goals, and if you are looking for a company with upward trajectory and opportunities for succession, this position could lead to larger roles within the organization = GROWTH

In this role, you will:

  • Provide vacation relief support for shift supervisors
  • Oversee production crew and plant operations
  • Ensure maximum production quantity and quality
  • Supervise and coordinate food process activities
  • Oversee and develop new employee training programs
  • Monitor production, quality, identify improvements
  • Maintain production records and reports
  • Facilitate communication with QA lab on policies/procedures
  • Monitor sampling and testing, assist operators as needed
  • Ensure cleaning schedules followed
  • Handle emergencies, ensure employee safety
  • Troubleshoot and correct production problems
  • Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports
  • Assist with food safety obligations during absences
  • Enforce safe work programs like lockout-tagout
  • Monitor chemical/supply usage and inventories
  • Follow all SQF and FSMA policies

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Math, communication, computer skills
  • 2+ years in food processing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality, costs, maximizing manufacturing
  • Knowledge of machines, tools, uses, repair and maintenance

Shift: On-site, 24/7 facility, 12 hour rotating shifts
