Hiring mgr comments
- In order to build rapport, I will need this candidate to be located in the Seattle / Pacific NW region as we'll need them in our Bellingham, WA, HQ quite a bit during their first 2-3 months. From there most travel will be on the West Coast with some travel to other regions of the US.
- What I'm not looking for is someone only with experience selling Cable Internet or "cell phone" service. That background simply can't hang in a conversation about legacy "transport" (DWDM, MPLS and/or IP/BGP routing). This candidate will need to talk to Carrier engineers & operations and, if they don't know what they're talking about, they won't be taken seriously.
