Position: Revenue Auditor

Department: Finance

Wage: 19.00/hr

 

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs complex auditing and clerical work in connection with the maintenance of financial records and the preparation of financial reports. Compile, audit, and record revenue for Cliff Castle Casino Hotel (CCCH) and the Lodge. Due to the audit independence, gambling is not permitted at CCCH.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

  • Gather and reconcile revenue and other financial and statistical information for all revenue departments utilizing various accounting systems’ reports.
  • Research, investigate, and correct financial data variances and discrepancies.
  • Audit revenues and other financial and statistical information daily, accurately and efficiently.
  • Reviews source documents from various gaming areas for compliance with the minimum internal control standards and company policies.
  • Enter daily revenue information into journal entry format for general ledger upload.
  • Performs daily audits accurately and efficiently in accordance to established policy and procedures and documents the results of the audit. 
  • In coordination with Revenue Audit Supervisor and Staff Accountant, prepares any requested financial or statistical analysis reports. 
  • Produces audited and unaudited reports for each department.
  • Ensures proper filing and storage of audit paperwork.
  • Provides required support to management, Internal Audit, and external auditors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.       Education: High school diploma or GED, required

2.       Work Experience: One (1) year experience in an accounting or bookkeeping position, required

3.       Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a.       Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel

b.       Know ten-key by touch

4.       Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements: N/A

5.       Be at least 18 years of age.

6.       Be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.

7.       Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
