Consider joining our team as a Grounds Technician for Rivers Edge Apartments and Townhomes in Dayton, Ohio.



Who you are:

  • At least one year of experience in groundskeeping.
  • Enjoy working primarily outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • Willingness to submit to a drug and background check if offered this position.


What you’ll do as a Grounds Technician:

  • Maintain grounds, sidewalks, and roadways free of debris, snow, and ice.
  • Plant, fertilized and water trees, grass, flowers, and shrubs.
  • Address resident inquiries and concerns about outdoor areas.
  • Report issues or damage to outdoor structures and landscaping features to management.
  • Completes light to moderate maintenance work orders and maintain the pool chemicals.
  • Scheduled hours: Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm
