We are known for full-service catering and events, corporate workplace dining and amenity programs, and large-scale event and festival production. Great Performances is the nation’s first caterer to own and operate an organic farm, Katchkie Farm located in Kinderhook, NY. Responsibilities:

  • Dish washing, pot & pan washing, kitchen equipment cleaning
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas throughout the shift
  • Various deep cleaning and maintenance projects
  • Maintaining service ware in a well organized manner
  • Follow NYC Department of Health regulations
  • Support kitchen staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years porter and/or dishwasher experience in a café, restaurant or food service business
  • Strong work ethic, well organized, focused, attentive to detail with a sense of urgency
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Enthusiastic, team player with a positive attitude
  • Able to communicate effectively with team members
  • Respectful of fellow employees, managers and vendors
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, reach bend and stand throughout an 8 hour shift

Base salary: $17.00-$19.00

Benefits: PTO, 401K, Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, Transit, and FSA (Flexible Spending Account)
