Position Overview:
The Warehouse Helper is an essential member of our operations team, responsible for supporting various warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, organizing, and preparing goods for shipment. This role requires a proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the unloading of delivery trucks and check incoming shipments against packing lists.
  • Organize and stock products in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
  • Prepare and pack products for shipment according to company standards.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular counts and updates.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Follow safety protocols and report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the assembly of packaging materials and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner.
