Per Diem Front Desk Receptionist

- Understands and operates the Center's computer system.
- Ensures that existing business policies and procedures are understood and implemented.
- Monitors business forms and supplies inventories and usage, assists with pricing and ordering all supplies.
- Assures proper registration of patient, complete bill preparation and submission for payment.
- Seeks guidance, direction and assistance where needed. Follows Center Policy and procedure at all times.
- Communicates a positive and caring attitude toward patient, peers, staff and all other contacts.
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient and Center's communications/documents.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and organizational ability.
- Oversees the collection and retention of all information required for medical records.
- Assists with the Center's medical records functions.
- Works with the Admins and DON to assure smooth patient flow in scheduling.
- Works with the physician and director to assure appropriate patient processing after registration.
- Assist in review medical records.
- Receives all incoming calls and provides appropriate responses or direct calls to proper individuals for handling.
- Receives visitors, other medical personnel and sales representatives at the Center, determines the nature of business, and directs individuals accordingly.
- Makes visitors feel welcome by greeting, offering refreshments as appropriate, escorting them to proper locations/individuals, and keeps visitors informed by providing proper updating information.
- Registers patients upon arrival, including processing of record forms.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Assist in inputting patient booking sheets.
- Assists with keeping waiting room neat and replenished nutrients as necessary.
