We are seeking a skilled and experienced commercial electrician to join our team. As a commercial electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various commercial settings. Your work will ensure that electrical systems are safe, reliable, and compliant with all applicable codes and regulations.Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, conduits, fixtures, and electrical panels.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine the layout and configuration of electrical wiring and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and diagnostic tools.
  • Repair or replace faulty wiring, components, and fixtures.
  • Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, and contractors, to plan and complete electrical installations and renovations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Respond to emergency calls to address electrical problems and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and repairs completed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in a similar role.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Proficient in using electrical testing devices and tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
