**IN SEARCH OF AN EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION MANAGER IN SUMMIT COUNTY OR EAGLE COUNTY**
The Production Manager’s primary focus is planning, executing, monitoring, controlling budget, payment collections, and closing out projects. The production manager is accountable for the entire project scope, the install crew’s quality control, to ensure that the projects are completed in a timely fashion. The PM will ensure complete homeowner satisfaction while applying sound business judgement.
Essential Functions & Duties of the Job
- Daily routine visits/inspections to assigned projects being installed
- Meet with the homeowner, Set clear expectations of the scope of the project
- Answer any questions that they homeowner may have
- Communicate with clients regarding their project status
- Communicate estimated timeframe to complete job with homeowners
- Evaluate projects accuracy and progress
- Installation support
- Communication with sales consultants
- View the project from the homeowner’s perspective
- Perform job site visits, quality checks, and installation guidance.
- Documenting, tracking, and ensuring the completion of projects, punch lists and services
- Execute “Field Change Orders” and deliver materials to active projects as needed
- Perform post install walk-through with clients
- Collect homeowner’s payment by check, credit card, or financing
- Coordinate with accounting
- Create punch lists and timeline expectations as needed
- Working daily with leadership to discuss jobs and close-outs
- Upload install completion packet into Market Sharp
- Create service ticket if necessary and the task in Market Sharp
- Complete install task in Market Sharp upon install completion
- Update/Upload all proper documents into company CRM (measure, company cam, orders, completion forms, receipts, tasks, etc.)
- Continuously searching for methods to increase productivity and efficiency without sacrificing quality or homeowners experience
- Coordinate with scheduling regarding projects status
- Ensure installation paperwork is being completed by install crews
- Approve all installation invoices
- Communicate with scheduling coordinator to ensure proper timelines are being followed and job status updates
- Operate company vehicle safely and professionally daily
- Schedule and perform vehicle maintenance with appropriate vendor
- Maintain ongoing training to current installers to enhance speed and efficiency
- Attend weekly production meetings
- Communicate any obstacles to management, input is critical to the success of the company
- Additional duties and responsibilities to be assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required
- Strong customer services skills required
- Approved accredited post-secondary vocational or technical school diploma preferred.
- 5+ years of Mechanical, Window Repair, or Construction experience preferred.
- 5 + years of Project Management preferred
- 2 years of replacement windows experience preferred
- Proficient with computers, Microsoft office suite and CRM systems
- Strong understanding of PPE procedures, equipment, and techniques
Physical Requirements: (include any relevant requirements)
- Ability to communicate effectively with homeowner, installation crews, internal staff, and company leadership.
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Comprehend and communicate efficiently with other employees
- Operate a computer with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Utilize a smartphone for business applications
- Verbal and written ability to provide correspondence and status or maintenance tasks
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to homeowner, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Read, write and communicate English, Spanish is a plus
- Strong commitment to time management.
- Dependable and punctual with appointments, documentation, and commitments.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs. consistently and constant standing
- Serve as primary liaison between sales and the homeowner. Provide solutions to ensure successful first-time completion.
