POSITION SUMMARY:

The Family Entertainment Center Director will be responsible for the management of the FEC operations including but not limited to: Maintenance, Housekeeping, Retail, Event Management Administration and Reporting. Family Entertainment Center Manager will also work closely with other departments in hiring, training, management, and staff scheduling.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

The Family Entertainment Center Director is responsible for the oversight and implementation of all tasks. These responsibilities include:

  • Plan, schedule and facilitate FEC planning/strategic meetings
  • Developing operational Key Performance Indicator Reports (KPI)
  • Direct the implementation of marketing plan/strategy
  • Developing and maintaining staff schedules
  • P&L management and reconciliation
  • Creating and promoting programs and activities within FEC membership model Bowling, laser tag, e-sports, golf simulators, roll glider, arcade, birthday parties, camps, etc.
  • Managing Front Desk operations, customer service culture, and checklists
  • Acquiring Corporate and Events business (and contract execution)
  • Retail sales and inventory control
  • Oversees daily operations for the FEC
  • Primary contact for all events and executor of bookings/contracts for the FEC
  • FEC development and sales in-house and co-partnerships
  • Serving as Manager-on-Duty ("MOD") during events and weekends
  • Assist with Sports Programming as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of retail, sports or entertainment sales required
  • Must have excellent initiative, interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours)
  • Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or must be willing to obtain them within a specified period of time
  • Prior responsibility in daily P&L management and budget oversight

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Facility has intermittent noise
