The Role
We're searching for motivated individuals interested in embarking on a seasonal adventure in pool maintenance and service. This job requires no previous experience, making it an ideal starting point for anyone keen to learn about pool care. From opening and closing pools to servicing and repairing equipment, you'll receive comprehensive on-the-job training. This role is your chance to become proficient in maintaining the perfect pool condition, ensuring a delightful summer for everyone.
Requirements
- Eagerness to learn a new set of skills in an active, outdoor work environment.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting weights over 50 pounds occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently.
- Team-oriented but capable of managing tasks independently after initial training.
- Ready to work in the summer conditions, embracing both the heat and the rewarding nature of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Master the procedures for opening and closing swimming pools each season.
- Acquire skills in servicing and repairing a variety of pool equipment.
- Learn water testing and chemical treatment methods to maintain optimal pool conditions.
- Undertake routine cleaning and maintenance to keep pools in top shape.
- Grow to handle responsibilities with minimal supervision, showcasing your independence.
