Job DescriptionJob DescriptioncFocus Software is seeking an IT Specialist SME to join our program supporting IRS in Lanham, MD. This position requires an active Public Trust clearance and must meet 8570 requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Active Public Trust clearance.
  • 8570 Compliant (Security+ CE)
  • 8+ years of experience with technical integration in government IT projects.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Hold active certifications such as PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and CSM.
Duties:
  • Provides expert-level technical support for the IRS’s strategic and organizational readiness efforts.
  • Participate in strategic collaboration with IRS team members and contractor staff to ensure technology readiness for program development, delivery, and operation.
  • Support Identity Access Management (IAM) organizational support, participating in strategic collaboration sessions, and helping to develop and update the organizational readiness timeline.
  • Assist in the execution of readiness activities such as workshops, assessments, and integrated business/IT sessions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technology transition plans and program-level product roadmaps.
