Supervisor - Horticulture

The Horticulture Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and replacing interior and exterior plant material, diagnosing pest and disease problems, monitoring watering, order and receiving of plant material, providing training and support for the staff, documenting employee information, and conducting regular staff meetings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coaching and developing team members
• Supervising landscaping projects and maintenance, irrigation systems, the use of fertilizers and pesticides, tree pruning, floral design, installation and maintenance of interior/exterior plant material
• Training horticulture supervisors and gardeners, developmenting staff, providing support and motivation, conducting weekly staff meetings
• Documenting and communicating all pertinent and essential information to Horticulture Director

• Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Minimum of  2-3 years of experience in commercial or resort horticulture
