Estimating Coordinator

NFC is a flooring multi-family subcontractor looking to add an Estimating Coordinator to our growing team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and accuracy in details. The coordinator is responsible for managing multiple aspects of the jobs from start to finish including project folder structure, vendor pricing, client communication, and reporting.
As a key member of the Estimating Team, reporting to the Estimating Manager and Pre-Con Director, the Estimating Coordinator will:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare job folders
• Review digital plans, specifications and other documents
• Request Material Pricing
• Maintain Vendor Folders/Price Lists
• Managing Monday.com estimating board
• Creating and managing RFI for project specs
• Job Site Visits
• Estimating Contract Review Meetings
• Assist estimating with any other tasks given but not listed above

Requirements:
• Construction Management and/or Drafting associate degree or equivalent work experience
• Must be a self-motivator and ability to be successful without being micromanaged
• Must have a great personality, leadership skills, and be coachable and teachable
• Exercise strong communications skills, both written and verbal, when interacting with general contractors and vendors and other industry personal
• Provide value engineering suggestions, alternates
• Read and understand plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
• Organization
