Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard

Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and proactive Security Guard to join our team at a solar panel farm. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of a solar energy facility, protecting assets, and preventing unauthorized access or theft. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observation skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment for both personnel and equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Patrol the perimeter and interior of the solar panel farm regularly to deter and detect any signs of intrusion, vandalism, or unauthorized activity.
2. Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to identify and respond promptly to any security breaches or suspicious behavior.
3. Conduct thorough inspections of gates, fences, and access points to ensure they are secure and properly maintained.
4. Respond promptly to alarms, calls for assistance, or emergency situations, such as fires, accidents, or medical emergencies.
5. Collaborate with other security personnel and farm staff to coordinate security efforts and address any security concerns or issues.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of security incidents, patrols, and activities in daily logs or reports.
7. Enforce site-specific security policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations related to security and safety.
8. Provide assistance and guidance to visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel as needed, ensuring they comply with security protocols.

Qualifications:

1. Valid BSIS issued Guard Card
2. Proven experience as a security guard, preferably in an industrial or outdoor environment.
3. Familiarity with surveillance systems, access control, and other security technologies.
4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
6. Valid CA Driver's License AND a clean driving record
7. Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures preferred.
8. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to security and safety.
9. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Work Schedule:

• PART-time position (Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm)
